All cameras, lenses and accessories sold on this page includes a warranty for a period of 90 days, since the customer receives the item.
1. THE WARRANTY INCLUDES:
- Diagnosis of possible problems.
- Coverage of repairing costs.
- Spare parts, if necessary.
- New test with film + processing + scann, if necessary.
- Shipping costs*, until it’s returned to customer.
2. THE WARRANTY WILL BE CANCELED AND WITHOUT RIGHT TO CLAIM IF:
- Shipment of the item or any component to a different Technical Service (T. S.) than the one indicated.
- Warranty hologram-labels removed or damaged.
- Shipment to T. S. with the lens mounted on the body camera (in case of cameras with removable lens), and/or without lenses/bodies caps.
- Deficient packaging on shipping to T. S. (the item must be very well protected with cushioning material, in a compact package, without gaps or empty spaces).
- Misuse and/or bad assembly of the equipment, not following the instructions or recommendations from seller or original manufacturer.
- Inadequate storage or transport, knocks.
- Mounting and/or use of accessories not included and/or not original.
- Battery overcharging, elimination of lubrication on thread and contacts of the battery and/or its housing in the body camera.
- Use of inadequate batteries.
- Deficient cleaning of the equipment.
- In general terms the warranty does not apply to any defect in the product arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence or any alteration, customizing or repair done without our prior written approval.
- As a general warning, any camera could be damaged by improper use, such as empty shooting (without film) above normal speed of 24 ips.
3. THE WAY TO PROCEED WILL BE:
The equipmet must be shipped to T. S. Initially, the shipping costs from the customer to T. S. must be paid by the customer (it is essential to keep the shipping ticket). Upon receiving the item, the cause of the problem will be evaluated.
If the item has an unsolved problem or deficiency before its sale, it will be repaired free of charge and returned to customer, free of shipping cost.
If the malfunction is due to any of the causes described in the previous section (nr. 2), the customer will receive an assessment of cost for repair it, and the customer will decide. In this case the cost of the repair and all shipping costs will be borne/paid by the customer.
*: About the shipping cost from customer to T. S., until US$50 will be returned. If the shipment to Technical service accrues customs expenses, these will be charged to customer in any case.
