Today we release other ambitious project, in this case developed jointly with professional filmmaker Sune Eskelinen: this accessory completes the new Kodak Super 8 camera.
Despite being a highly innovative product, the new Kodak Super 8 camera lacks features that help professionals develop their work, and with this base we wanted to provide what is necessary to help make the camera more profitable.
This accessory is machined from 6082 aluminum (NO 3D PLASTIC PRINTING, only quality manufacturing), black anodized, with stainless steel screws.
It has support for 15mm rods bars with industry-standard 85mm spacing between the rod center and optical axis. Tripod threads (1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16) are reinforced with stainless steel Helicoil. Tripod threads are positioned vertically centered under the lens.
A wooden grip for shooting the camera is easily removable if the filmmaker prefers to attach the grip to the provided 32mm Arri rosette.
The base has two cheese plates with both 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads, some of them to work in conjunction with locating pins.
It comes with vinyl sticker between camera and aluminum base, and on base floor (around female tripod threads).
