A new battery arrives at testedsuper8cameras to satisfy those filmmakers who need a long-lasting power source for their video-assist cameras. We could call it “customizable battery“ due the different types of mounts it can have, depending on the user’s needs. Currently, it’s available in four versions:
- Sided plate to attach to multiple cameras, placed between tripod shoe and camera. This version includes a screw to attach the battery directly to camera’s tripod thread, allowing greater freedom of movement.
- Male cold shoe to attach to Canon 814 XL-S and 1014 XL-S, Beaulieu 6008 and 7008, as well as any camera or accessory with female cold shoe.
- 1/4″ screw attachment system for any camera with upper thread, as Fujica ZC1000, Nizo 6080, Bauer 715XL, etc.
- Clamp for 15 mm rod bars.
- It would also be possible to install an Arri rosette instead, with female M6 thread, positioned wherever the filmmaker needs it.
This battery is Li-Ion, 12 V, 9900 mAh. Comes with a smart autoswitching charger (100-240 V, 50-60 Hz, output 1 Ah, EU plug).
